Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Rozmowka Labs for the use of Rozmówka. By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you accept them.
Last updated 23 August 2026 · Effective immediately for all users
1. Agreement
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Rozmowka Labs ("we", "us"), the operator of Rozmówka at rozmowka.com. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service. Our privacy policy is part of this agreement.
2. What the service does
Rozmówka is a language-learning tool. You hold a spoken conversation with an AI assistant. We transcribe what you said, identify grammar mistakes, unnatural phrasing, vocabulary you could widen and sounds that missed their target, and schedule each of those for spaced repetition practice.
The feedback — corrections, vocabulary suggestions and accent scoring — is generated automatically and is not perfect. It is a practice aid, not a certified language assessment, and should not be relied on for academic, immigration, professional certification or employment purposes.
3. Beta service
Rozmówka is currently in private beta. Features may change or be removed, the service may be unavailable at times, and data loss, while something we work hard to avoid, is possible. We will tell you before making a change that materially reduces what you already paid for.
4. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Rozmówka. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@rozmowka.com if you think someone else has access to it. Give us accurate information and keep it current.
5. Acceptable use
While using Rozmówka you agree not to:
- Break the law, or use the service to harass, defraud or harm anyone.
- Upload audio of another person without their knowledge and consent.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or data that is not yours.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its output as your own product.
- Reverse engineer the service except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
- Send automated traffic at a volume that degrades the service for others.
We may suspend accounts that breach this section, with notice where practical.
6. Your content
Your recordings and transcripts remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process them for the sole purpose of running the service for you — generating your corrections and feedback, and maintaining your review schedule. We do not use your recordings to train models for other customers, and we do not publish them. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
7. Our content
The service itself, including our software, drills, curricula, models, branding and this website, belongs to Rozmowka Labs and its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while this agreement lasts. Nothing else is granted.
8. Fees
The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans we will publish the prices, and no existing user will be charged without agreeing to a plan first. Paid subscriptions, once introduced, renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current period. Consumers in the EU keep their statutory withdrawal rights.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep Rozmówka available and to answer support mail within two working days, but during the beta we do not offer a service level agreement. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can.
10. Ending the agreement
You may stop using Rozmówka and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data. Sections 6, 7, 11, 12 and 14 survive the end of this agreement.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Rozmówka is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its pronunciation feedback will be accurate in every case. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, and nothing affects the statutory rights of consumers.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of this agreement in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and EUR 100.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the law of Poland, and the courts of Warsaw have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own local courts.
